STAMFORD — A New York man was sentenced to serve 10 years in prison by a state judge on Friday after pleading guilty last year to killing a 71-year-old Stamford man during a road rage incident.
Emmanuel Matias, 28, also was sentenced to 5 years of probation during a court appearance before Superior Court Judge Alex V. Hernandez at state Superior Court in Stamford Friday. If he were to violate probation, Matias faces up to an additional five years in prison, for a total sentence of 15 years.
