After reclassifying this past week, three of the best talents from the 2025 recruiting class will join their teams this upcoming season. Top 75 Softball America recruits Sophia Bordi , Makenna Bellarie and Kylie Shaw will join Oklahoma and Florida.
Bordi, the 12th overall in the 2025 rankings, is a five-star right-handed pitcher from Haddon Heights, N.J. and comes from OC Batbusters Stith, which Oklahoma has been very connected to. Bordi is another potential arm for the Sooners with Kierston Deal , Sam Landry, Isabella Smith, Paytn Monticelli and fellow freshman Audrey Lowry .
“Sophia brings a lot to the table,” Oklahoma head coach Patty Gasso said in the team’s signing day release. “She is an elite pitcher, having won championships in both high school and travel ball. She is also elite offensively. She brings power from the right side and we expect her to be an integral part of our program. I’m very excited about Sophia’s future as a Sooner.”…
