Fourth Case of Bird Flu Confirmed in Georgia

A positive case of highly contagious bird flu has been found in Clayton County, the Georgia Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service confirmed Friday.

Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) was found in a small, backyard flock consisting of 13 chickens and ducks, officials said.
