San Andreas, CA…On January 7, 2024, at about 10:30 PM, deputies were dispatched to a report of a robbery at a residence in the 400 block of Gold Court, San Andreas. The victim reported that they responded to a knocking sound at the door. Upon opening the door, a female suspect brandished a handgun and demanded to be let inside. The victim, taken by surprise, stumbled backward as two additional suspects entered the residence. The female suspect continued to point the firearm at the victim while the other two suspects collected and removed various personal belongings. After obtaining the items, the suspects fled in an unknown direction. Responding deputies launched an investigation, focusing on evidence collection and searching the area for the suspects.
The Sheriff’s Detective Unit was dispatched to assist with the investigation, building upon leads established during the initial inquiry. This led to the identification of suspect, Jessica Ann Colcleaser, age 47, from Valley Springs. Once the detectives determined suspect Colcleaser’s identity, they were able to use other information gathered from the case to obtain a search warrant for her residence which was located in the 400 block of Rose Street, Valley Springs.
Based on several facts and circumstances surrounding the investigation, the decision was made to use the Calaveras SWAT to serve the search warrant. On January 8th, at about 6:00 PM, the SWAT team served the search warrant. Suspect Colcleaser was located inside the residence and placed under arrest without incident. During the search, investigators recovered items belonging to the victim, ammunition, a small quantity of suspected methamphetamine, as well as three handguns, two rifles, and a shotgun.
Suspect Jessical Ann Colcleaser was transported to the county jail, where she was charged with robbery, possession of stolen property, prohibited persons in possession of ammunition and firearms, and possession of a firearm without identification marks…
