RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A motorcycle rider was badly injured late Thursday morning in a crash that shut down a stretch of a major Riviera Beach road for several hours.
The rider had been rushed to St. Mary’s Hospital right after the wreck and remains in critical condition, the Riviera Beach Police Department reported in an update.
The crash happened shortly before noon Thursday near an intersection on North Congress Avenue, between Silver Beach Road and West Blue Heron Boulevard. All southbound lanes of the road were blocked off at the Canopy Road intersection for at least two hours…
