MEQUON, Wis. – A Mequon traffic light aimed at helping slow down traffic and enhance safety has been put on hold.
At a busy intersection between Mequon Road and Weston Drive, people in Mequon like David Wolfson are used to seeing speeding drivers in this busy part of town.
“People go 10 miles an hour and faster, so that’s kind of ridiculous, right?” Wolfson said. “Slow, cars, down. Make it safer for people to walk around.”
