DENVER ( KDVR ) — A man accused of threatening a victim with a firearm and stealing a sedan on Thursday in Aurora was arrested in Mesa County Friday, officials reported.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office, the Aurora Police Department notified the Colorado State Patrol Friday of an armed carjacking that took place Thursday in Aurora, wherein the suspect took a black 2008 Subaru Impreza.

Police said an automated license plate reader detected the vehicle in Glenwood Springs first but then found it traveling west on Interstate 70.
