Country music star Cody Johnson has once again demonstrated his commitment to the Western way of life through his music and philanthropic efforts. The 2nd Annual Cody Johnson Charity Golf Tournament, held during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas on Dec. 8, 2024, raised an impressive $298,000 for multiple charities. The event was presented by Wrangler and Resistol and organized by Resistol’s Cowboys Who Care Foundation.
Twenty-eight golf teams participated in the tournament, which combined a day of golfing and an auction to generate funds for three impactful organizations: Resistol’s Cowboys Who Care Foundation, the Different Day Foundation, and Wrangler’s Bucking Cancer initiative.
“For me, when you get an opportunity like this to give back, it’s a big deal,” said Cody Johnson during his speech at the event. “When you have a driving force, like these brands behind you, it’s hard not to step up and make a difference.
