Zuckerberg Praises “Masculine Energy,” Criticizes Corporate America

Additional Coverage:

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has renounced “culturally neutered” corporate culture in favor of embracing “masculine energy.” In an interview with Joe Rogan, Zuckerberg criticized the pendulum swing towards labeling masculinity as toxic.

Zuckerberg credits martial arts with his change of heart, highlighting the benefits of physical activity and competition among men. He believes that celebrating aggression can have positive outcomes.

Meta has simultaneously ended its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs, citing legal and policy changes. The company also removed tampons from men’s restrooms and terminated its fact-checking policies, replacing them with Community Notes.

Zuckerberg acknowledged the overreach of censorship in the recent presidential election, blaming politically biased fact-checkers for damaging trust. Meta will now allow criticism of gender identity and remove transgender themes from its Messenger app.

This cultural shift away from DEI policies is not unique to Meta. Major companies are reevaluating their diversity programs following President-elect Trump’s victory.
