Ohio man dies while trying to conduct air quality test inside tanker

A Cleveland man died in a workplace incident in northeast Ohio on Friday.

The Twinsburg Fire Department responded to Emerald Transformer around 9:40 a.m. on Friday on reports of someone who “fell into a tank,” WEWS in Cleveland reported.

The Summit County Sheriff’s Office told WEWS and WOIO that a 35-year-old man entered a railroad tanker car to conduct an air quality test as two other people waited outside.
