Wolverines make themselves at home, end winless skid with 4-3 OT win over Janesville

When the Anchorage Wolverines were last seen on home ice, the junior hockey team could essentially do no wrong.

Friday, a mere seven weeks later, some late-night heroics saved the Wolverines from facing legitimate North American Hockey League concerns.

Defensemen Drew Nelson and Brock Devlin provided goals – Nelson’s late in the third period and Devlin’s 2 minutes, 8 seconds into overtime – as Anchorage returned to Sullivan Arena for the first time in 54 days.
