Seattle Center Seeks Volunteers for Largest Free Healthcare Event During National Volunteer Week

If lending a hand in the largest free healthcare clinic in the country strikes you as a worthy way to spend some time, then the Seattle Center has just the opportunity. The Seattle/King County Clinic is rolling out its call for volunteers for this year’s event, set to take place from April 24 to 27. Clinical and non-clinical volunteers are needed to fill over 5,000 shifts, ensuring patients receive much-needed medical, dental, and vision care.

According to Center Spotlight, the clinic is a community effort marking its 10th anniversary and will coincide with National Volunteer Week. It has been a beacon of compassion in the region, addressing the healthcare needs of thousands who otherwise may not have access to adequate care. In addition to volunteering during the clinic, there is also a special eyeglasses dispensing event planned for late May that requires volunteer support.
