CLAYTON, Ga. — A winter storm system wreaked havoc on metro Atlanta, leaving behind downed power lines, knocking thousands off the grid and causing numerous accidents.
However, there’s another concern when temperatures drop: those experiencing homelessness. Organizations like Ujimaway are pooling resources to make sure no one spends the night in the dangerously cold weather.
