South Alabama has 5-game winning streak snapped with 71-63 overtime loss to ODU

South Alabama’s five-game winning streak ended in frustrating fashion on Saturday, as visiting Old Dominion claimed a 71-63 overtime victory at the Mitchell Center.

Sean Durugordon had a monster game for the Monarchs with 27 points and 18 rebounds (8 of them offensive), while Robert Davis added 25, including eight 3-pointers. The Jaguars (12-5, 4-1 Sun Belt) fell out of sole possession of first place in the conference with their first loss since Dec. 16 at TCU.
