Frogs Protect Home Court with 71-67 win over BYU

FORT WORTH — TCU snapped a 17-game losing streak to BYU on Saturday afternoon behind another game-winner from Noah Reynolds and some key free throws from a true freshman.

Reynolds’ layup put TCU ahead 69-67 with 24 seconds left in the contest, capping a 21-point performance. Reynolds, the Big 12’s leading scorer in conference play, added three assists, two rebounds and two steals to his day without turning the ball over.

After his go-ahead basket, Reynolds and TCU’s defense forced a turnover on the baseline. Micah Robinson was fouled with 4.9 seconds remaining, and the true freshman knocked down both free throws to give the Frogs the 71-67 win…
