Missouri Weather Update: Arctic Blast to Bring Single-Digit Lows and Snow by Tuesday

St. Louis, MO – Missourians should prepare for a bitterly cold start to the week as an arctic front brings single-digit temperatures and snow.

The National Weather Service forecasts cloudy skies Monday with a high near 24 degrees. By Monday night, temperatures will begin to drop sharply, with lows reaching the low teens. On Tuesday morning, residents north of I-70 may see a slight chance of snow, which could lead to slick roadways during the morning commute.

By Tuesday night, temperatures will plummet even further, with lows dipping to around 7 degrees. Wind chills will make it feel even colder, so residents are encouraged to dress in layers, check on vulnerable neighbors, and limit time outdoors.
