Chicago, IL – A sharp cold front moving into Illinois tonight will bring snow and dangerously low wind chills through midweek, creating hazardous travel conditions. Snow accumulation of up to 1 inch is expected near and east of I-55 by Monday morning, with untreated surfaces at risk of becoming slick.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) Chicago, wind chills will plummet Monday night into Tuesday, reaching as low as -15 degrees.
