Olivia Miles Leads Notre Dame To Win Over Clemson Without Hannah Hidalgo

Clemson, S.C. – No Hannah Hidalgo ? No problem….sort of. Notre Dame went on the road Sunday afternoon and extended its winning streak to nine games with a 67-58 win over Clemson (10-7, 3-3 ACC). The Irish (13-2, 5-0) won without Hidalgo in the lineup for the first time this season.

The national player of the year candidate was out after turning her ankle in last Thursday’s home win over Wake Forest. Hidalgo made the trip to South Carolina but wore an ankle brace and sat out with the minor injury for precautionary reasons.

“She’s fine,” Irish head coach Niele Ivey said before the game. “You all saw her roll her ankle late in the (Wake Forest) game and we just want to give her a bit of extra rest and make sure she’s 100% for the rest of the season.”…
