Pregnant mother, 24, killed in crash had a heart of gold, friend says

GREENVILLE, S.C. (WHNS/Gray News) – A South Carolina mother and her unborn child were killed when she went off the road while driving on the interstate.

Officials say 24-year-old Marie Jabbie was driving on Interstate 385 north around 4:52 a.m. Tuesday when she went off the road, WHNS reports.

The Greenville County Coroner’s Office says Jabbie, who was pregnant, was taken to the hospital, where an emergency cesarean section was performed. Both the 24-year-old and her unborn child died…
