After a brief warmup, South Florida will welcome yet another cold snap during a winter season that has seen some below-average temperatures.
Degrees will start to dip late Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning with lows in the lower 60s and highs in the low 70s. A more significant chill will come over the region on Thursday when temperatures will drop into the 50s and stay that way through Friday.
“No cold records will be challenged, but it will be feeling nice outside,” said National Weather Service Miami meteorologist Sammy Hadi. “Highs in the low 70s, maybe upper 60s, and low temperatures in the 50s, the low 60s.”…
