ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ/GasBuddy Release) – Average gasoline prices in Roanoke are unchanged in the last week, averaging $2.85/g Monday, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 155 stations in Roanoke. Prices in Roanoke are unchanged versus a month ago and stand 1.1 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has increased 3.7 cents in the last week and stands at $3.525 per gallon.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Roanoke was priced at $2.64/g Sunday while the most expensive was $3.09/g, a difference of 45.0 cents per gallon. The lowest price in the state Sunday was $2.39/g while the highest was $3.79/g, a difference of $1.40/g.
The national average price of gasoline has fallen 1.1 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.02/g Monday. The national average is up 0.9 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 3.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country…
