South Texas musician Robert “Bobby” Maurice Galvan Sr. performed every year at the Texas Jazz Festival for decades, operated the historic Galvan Ballroom and started Galvan Music Co., leaving his mark on the music of Corpus Christi.
He died on Jan. 7 at the age of 95.
