IOWA CITY, Iowa– Jan Jensen and her crew are searching for answers following their third straight loss. It’s the first time that Iowa has lost three straight games in seven years. While it’s a troublesome trend, it’s important to remember the context of how all of this came about.
The Big Ten has never been better. With the additions of UCLA, USC, Oregon and Washington along with the improvement of several programs– this is a fun and competitive league to be part of. Secondly, Jensen is a first year coach learning her new role. Iowa also lost the greatest college basketball player of all-time in Caitlin Clark along with some of the best veteran leadership the program has ever seen with Kate Martin and Gabbie Marshall.
