SUV crashes into Silverdale Starbucks, injuring one store patron

One woman was injured when a SUV crashed through the front door of a Starbucks in Silverdale on Friday.

The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement posted to social media that a 70-year-old woman inside the coffee shop at 10705 Silverdale Way NW told officers the vehicle knocked her out of her seat when it broke through the glass doors facing east.

The collision occurred at around 12:30 p.m. and the 83-year-old driver told KCSO she was attempting to park in a handicapped stall outside Starbucks. She told deputies she was unsure how the incident happened. She was not injured and KCSO did not say if she was cited for the crash…
