Rockville man strikes first $50K win in Maryland Lottery scratch-off game

ROCKVILLE, Md. ( DC News Now ) — One man is getting ready to put down the deposit on a house after winning $50,000 in a scratch-off game.

At the Maryland Lottery, it is “scratch-off season” and a man from Rockville is celebrating his win.

The player visited Hilltop Wine and Spirits on Race Track Road in Prince George’s County, where he purchased a MONOPOLY X200 instant ticket. While in the store, he completed the scratch-off and noticed that he matched the winning number, 11.
