Broward Health will increase its medical specialists in central and north Broward County over the next few years and is building high-rise medical office buildings in Fort Lauderdale and Deerfield Beach to house them.
The new Fort Lauderdale building, across the street from Broward Health Medical Center, will have eight floors of offices and a seven-story parking garage. It will house 129 examination rooms for doctors specializing in cardiovascular services, pulmonology, primary care, gastroenterology, neuroscience, and women’s services. The office’s design can expand to 237 exam rooms if needed. The new garage will have 700 parking spaces.
In Deerfield Beach, the planned medical office building adjacent to Broward Health North will be a six-story, 114,000-square-foot structure with 75 rooms. It will have space to expand to 123 exam rooms for doctors specializing in cardiovascular services, neuroscience, and orthopedics…
