Data breach impacts personal info of students in more than half of Tri-Cities schools

JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WCYB) — Parents across the region are learning their children’s information was stolen in a breach of America’s number one software for school data.

“PowerSchool, the provider of our student information system, notified us of a cyber security incident,” a call to parents from Sullivan East High School stated Monday.
