JENSEN BEACH − Jensen Beach High School’s principal sent parents a robocall message Tuesday regarding a student making concerning statements in the presence of other students, according to school officials.
In a statement addressed to parents, Principal Lori Vogel said a student was believed to have made “concerning statements” in front of other students and that the school is working with the Martin County Sheriff’s Office to investigate the situation. She said none of the statements allegedly made by the student have been deemed credible.
Vogel said if a student makes a statement to incite fear in others, as a joke or not, the student will face severe disciplinary action in accordance with the school’s Code of Student Conduct, and face potential legal consequences…
