OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) — The Owensboro Police Department is launching an internal investigation after officers transported a patient, who allegedly had a gun in her possession, to the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Authorities say the gun was discovered by hospital staff.
On Tuesday, OPD says they were contacted by the Owensboro Cancer Center regarding a patient making threatening remarks to the staff.
