Palm Beach County aims to enforce new condo regulations. Here’s the latest.

Aiming to boost public safety, Palm Beach County officials on Tuesday planned to urge the representatives of more than 100 condo buildings to submit their newly required inspection paperwork after they missed a deadline.

The inspection-related documentation coincides with a new state law, enacted after the 2021 Champlain Towers South building collapse in Surfside.

By Dec. 31 of last year, condo associations for buildings with three or more stories were meant to have filed an inspection report that details, among other things, the necessary building maintenance and expected costs for any fixes or renovations…
