The Washington Wizards hosted the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday in the second night of a back-to-back following a blowout loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday.
Washington entered this matchup looking to show some heart after an embarrassing outing to the Thunder just one day before. Not only did the Wizards have a opportunity to show their home fans that they have more to offer than just consistent blowouts, but they had the chance to snap a six-game losing streak.
