FOLEY, Ala. (SBG) — A Foley man was arrested after allegedly discharging a firearm to break up a dog fight in his backyard, police said.
According to police, on the evening of January 14th officers received a call of a disturbance in the 600 block of West Marigold Ave in Foley. Several calls came in from the area about hearing dogs fighting and then gunshots.
When officers arrived the disturbance was over, but the homeowner would not come to the door. The information was passed on to the Investigations Division Wednesday morning, and officers were able to make contact with Thomas K Hall, 61, at the residence and inspect the backyard and the dogs. Hall had an outstanding Failure to Appear warrant and was taken in for that charge and additional questioning…
