Florida man sentenced to 10 years for attempted child exploitation in Utah

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Glenn Raymond Breeden, a 56-year-old from Orlando, Florida, has been sentenced to 120 months in prison and a lifetime of supervised release for planning to engage in sexual activity with a minor.

The sentence was handed down by U.S. District Court Judge Howard C. Nielson, Jr., following Breeden’s guilty plea in June 2024 to charges of coercion and enticement.

In January 2024, Breeden traveled from Florida to Utah, where he communicated via cell phone with an undercover officer posing as the father of a child under 12, according to court documents. Breeden expressed his intentions to engage in sexual activity with the minor.
