New TN bill would train tattoo artists to spot human trafficking

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A new bill introduced in Tennessee would train tattoo artists to spot human trafficking.

Senate Bill 0171 (also House Bill 0182) or “The Ink of Hope Act” was introduced to the state Senate on Wednesday. This bill would require tattoo operators and artists to complete one-hour training on recognizing and reporting signs of human trafficking.
