The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred early Wednesday morning, January 15, 2025, in the Marine Creek Ranch area.
At approximately 4:22 a.m., officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 5800 block of Westgate Drive. When officers arrived, the caller opened the front door but was struggling with a second metal screen door. Officers observed an armed adult male inside the house holding a knife and acting aggressively toward other occupants.
Concerned for the safety of those inside the home, officers attempted to enter through the back of the house. The male suspect then charged at the officers with knives in hand, prompting them to open fire. The suspect was pronounced deceased at the scene. No officers or other civilians were injured…
