January 16, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at 5:05 p.m., deputies from
the Perris Sheriff’s Station responded to a robbery in the 1200 block of Mount Shasta Street, Perris. Upon deputies’ arrival, they contacted the victim, who had been robbed at gunpoint. The suspect fled the scene prior to deputies’ arrival.
The Perris Station Special Enforcement Team (SET) assumed the investigation. During the course of the investigation, SET deputies learned the suspect, later identified as 20-year-old Adrian Henning of Moreno Valley, contacted the victim on a popular social media sales application. When Henning and the victim agreed to meet to exchange the property, Henning took the property without paying and brandished a firearm. Henning was later located and apprehended by deputies from the Perris Sheriff’s Station and the Gang Impact Team (GIT) in the City of Moreno Valley. Perris Sheriff’s Station Investigators searched Henning’s residence and vehicle and located the victim’s property and a firearm.
During the investigation, investigators discovered Henning was the suspect in another incident that had occurred the same day in the unincorporated area of Perris known as Mead Valley. Like in the first incident, Henning contacted a victim via a popular social media sales application to buy property.
