Packers GM spills tea about one of the Titans top General Manager candidates during search

Sullivan has been regarded as somewhat of a favorite for the Titans job because of his relationship with Chad Brinker, also a Green Bay man at his core. The two have a history with the Packers, and Brinker’s vision for the Titans going forward appears to closely resemble that model he cut his teeth learning.

Well during a Thursday press conference, Packers GM Brian Gutekunst was asked about Sullivan and gave an eyebrow-raising response:

Asked about Packers vp of player personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan — who has multiple GM interviews — Brian Gutekunst at one point said:”He’ll be missed.”Sounds like Gutey knows JES is getting a GM job

“He’ll be missed” is a pretty definitive, straightforward answer. That sounds like an employee you’re confident you won’t be seeing around the office again next year…
