1 man arrested, another wanted in connection with deadly Norristown shooting

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police arrested a 25-year-old on Thursday in connection with a deadly shooting last week in Norristown, but they are still searching for a second man.

The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office announced the arrest of 25-year-old Marquan “Trey” Banks, of Brookhaven. He was taken into custody on Thursday in Chester.

Banks was wanted for the Jan. 11 shooting of 37-year-old Jermaine Pierce in Norristown. Around 7:30 that night, two groups of men crossed paths on Noble Street, near Airy Street…
