Collin County Boasts 5 H-E-Bs, While Dallas Prepares For Its First

Although H-E-B is widely regarded as one of the most iconic and beloved grocery store chains in Texas, Dallas has only recently begun to experience the grocery giant’s presence. Despite the company’s long history and dominance in the state, the city of Dallas has yet to have a single location, while neighboring regions like Collin County have seen multiple H-E-B stores spring up in recent years.

This delayed expansion into Dallas is now changing, as the city prepares to welcome its very first H-E-B, marking a significant milestone for both the retailer and local shoppers.

H-E-B Makes Waves In Collin County

H-E-B has rapidly expanded its presence across Collin County, marking a significant retail takeover in recent years. H-E-B has been expanding since its founding in 1905, but North Texas didn’t see its first location until 2022.
