January thaw continues Friday in Twin Cities before dangerous cold returns

MINNEAPOLIS — Temperatures are hanging in the 30s Friday morning in the Twin Cities until the next arctic cold front passes in the afternoon, throwing a few snow showers around northern Minnesota.

Just up to an inch of accumulation is expected, but blowing snow could reduce visibility.
