Gainesville police have made an arrest related to a shooting last weekend that left one teenager dead and another injured.
Roberto Acevedo, age 17, was arrested Wednesday on charges including involuntary manslaughter, which Gainesville Police Lt. Kevin Holbrook said is related to the January 4 incident that happened on Hillcrest Avenue in the city.
Officials found Aristeo Ramirez, age 17, dead inside a crashed vehicle near the roadway around 8:00 p.m. that night, with another teen who reportedly fled the scene on foot later being found with a gunshot wound to the foot and taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville for treatment…
