Man hit by train, impacting NYC subway service: MTA

NEW YORK (PIX11) – A man was struck by a train at the 86th Street subway station on Lexington Avenue in Manhattan Friday, impacting subway service, according to the MTA .

Southbound No. 6 trains are delayed, and northbound No. 6 trains are running express between Grand Central and 125th Street, according to the MTA.

The MTA is also warning riders they may wait longer for northbound Nos. 4 and 5 trains due to rerouted trains sharing the tracks.

The man was taken to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries; they are expected to recover. No criminality is suspected, police said…
