DALLAS, Texas — A Texas Department of Public Safety trooper heroically rescued a driver from a burning vehicle in a dramatic scene captured on dashcam. The incident occurred just after 2:20 a.m. on January 9 on the Dallas Tollway near Spring Creek Parkway.
Trooper Cody Durham, who was on routine patrol, noticed a crashed vehicle emitting smoke in the northbound lanes, according to a DPS news release.
