ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A bicyclist was fatally struck by an SUV early Saturday while riding on a road near Winter Park, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 2:25 a.m. on State Road 436 (North Semoran Boulevard) near Hanging Moss Road, troopers said.
According to an FHP crash report, the SUV was traveling north in the outside lane of S.R. 436, approaching Hanging Moss Road, as the bicyclist rode northbound ahead of it in the outside lane.
