According to the National Weather Service Hazardous Weather Outlook, “Dangerously cold temperatures and wind chills are expected early next week. A prolonged period of sub-freezing temperatures is possible across portions of central NC Monday through the middle part of next week.” Martin Luther King Day will be sunny but cool, with highs around 33°F.
