Orlando Community for Special Needs Children Begins Devlopment

Nathaniel’s Hope, a charity devoted to special needs children and their families, recently purchased 210 acres from the YMCA of Central Florida. The non-profit’s acquisition of the property was announced this week on their social media platforms.

According to the announcement from the co-founders of Nathaniel’s Hope, Tim and Marie Kuck, the newly-aquired plot of land at 4601 Young Pine Road includes three lakes and more than 100 acres of water, and provides space for the development of facilities for a “wide variety of different types of recreation in months and years to come.”

The property includes three lakes and more than 100 acres of water. Nathaniel’s Hope has plans for the property in southeast Orlando for a development called “Hopetown,” which would provide residential facilities, medical and therapeutic programs, job training and more to children and adults with disabilities.
