L.E.A.D. program helps county employees to be better leaders

Recent graduates of Lucas County’s Leaders Emerging and Developing program came from a diverse group of county agencies, boards, and departments to hone their skills to be better leaders.

“I would say a majority of us in the program are already leaders in our own kind of way. The program kind of emphasized that,” said Madison Williams, who recently participated in the program.

The 2024 graduating class of the L.E.A.D. program included employees from county agencies like canine care and control, children services, job and family services, the land bank, common pleas court, the health department, the Metroparks, adult probation, the board of developmental disabilities, and the treasurer’s and prosecutor’s offices…
