The National Weather Service has issued a hard freeze warning for most of East Texas, a winter storm watch for deep East Texas and says confidence that snow will fall is increasing as an Arctic air mass descends upon the region.
A hard freeze warning was in effect for several Texas counties from midnight Sunday to 9 a.m. Monday.
