Firefighters tackle residential blaze in Carrollton, Texas

CARROLLTON, Texas — Firefighters responded to a two-story residential fire in Carrollton, Texas, on Monday afternoon, with smoke visible from the back of the structure. The fire was declared under control shortly after crews cut a ventilation hole in the roof, according to Carrollton Texas Fire Rescue.

The incident, which occurred at 1503 hours, saw multiple crews operating inside the structure for fire attack and search.
