TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The area’s largest public school system, Toledo Public Schools, has canceled classes and athletic events through Wednesday.
A message from Superintendent Romulus Durant cited the frigid temperatures for the cancelation. He said announcing the closure Monday afternoon will give families more time to make alternate plans. A district spokesperson tells 13 Action News all athletic events and practices are also canceled through Wednesday.
